Quality Management System

The Audette Laboratory is dedicated to providing the highest possible quality of analytical research and to continuously improve the quality of our R&D program. We are committed to good professional practice, to the quality of our research, to the education of our trainees (undergraduates, graduates and PDFs), and to the quality of service to our customers and collaborators.

To achieve this objective, the Audette Laboratory has implemented a Quality Management System that is in general compliance with the principle requirements of national and international laboratory accreditation standards to ensure that quality research results are generated.

This Quality Management System encompasses the following:

  • A management system encompassing all the quality, administrative and technical systems including procedures and processes that govern the daily operations of the laboratory to achieve quality research and development results
  • Employing this management system as an educational tool for university undergraduate and graduate students as well as postdoctoral fellows
  • General compliance with all the principles and requirements of the international laboratory accreditation ISO/IEC 17025:2005 Standard “General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories”
  • General compliance with the principles of the national requirements of the Standards Council of Canada document CAN-P-1595 “Guidelines for the Accreditation of Laboratories Engaged in Test Method Development & Evaluation and Non-Routine Testing”, which is part of it’s Program Specialty Area (PSA) for test method development
